The MMI SmartCut Plus system consists of an inverted microscope with a motorized scanning stage, a solid state laser with a requisite laser beam delivery, transfer optics and a Windows based computer. The system is operated by MMI's patented software, CellTools, which controls the laser, image capture, scanning stage actions and automated MMI CapLift options.
